Whether the clinic documents treatment under general anaesthesia or deep / twilight sedation — "sleep dentistry", where the patient is asleep and unaware (does not feel, see, or hear the procedure). Ordinary conscious sedation, where the patient stays awake and responsive, does not count here. This is informational and does not affect the transparency score.
- ? General anaesthesia / deep sedation (sleep dentistry) — Not verified No anaesthesia/sedation info found on clinic website (homepage + site search).

Score Breakdown
Every criterion below is scored from public sources. ✓ verified yes · ✗ verified no / not found · ◐ partial · ? unverified (scores 0, not a negative finding).
Information Transparency
20 / 20
Whether basic facts about the clinic - its team, premises, services, and location - are publicly verifiable.
Price Transparency
7 / 15
Whether patients can estimate costs before visiting. Published price ranges count; exact prices are not required.

| ✗ | Cleaning price listed No cleaning price on any page; the site prices veneers, full-arch implants, whitening and the consultation [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen] | 0/2 |
| ✗ | Filling price listed No filling price on any page of the site [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen-2] | 0/2 |

| ✓ | Implant price listed Full-arch implant base prices published (All-on-4 from $175,000 MXN); single-implant stages priced on the clinic blog [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen-4] [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen-5] | 2/2 |

Reputation & Reviews
16 / 20
Public review signals. The Google rating is adjusted with a Bayesian prior (rating 4.0, weight 25) so a 5.0 from a handful of reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from hundreds.
| ◐ | Google rating (Bayesian-adjusted) as of 2026-08-25 [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-refresh] | 5/6 |
| ◐ | Google review volume [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-refresh] | 2.5/3 |
| ✓ | Review recency [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-refresh] | 3/3 |
| ✓ | Clinic responds to reviews The owner replies to reviews on Google: 8 of the 10 reviews read carry an owner reply, 5 of them to reviews from the last 12 months; the latest reply is dated 2026-08-07 (to a review of 2026-07-23). [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen-22] [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen-8] | 2/2 |
| ? | No recurring complaints 1–2★ ratings are 15 of 219 (6.8 %); three of the five lowest-rated Google reviews concern x-rays (images never sent, images withheld after a crown, a rough film holder) and the other two concern a phone booking and a same-day crown quote, so the one theme is too thin to call a repeated complaint. [dental-solutions-puerto-vallarta-deepen-22] | 0/2 |

Change History
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| 2026-10-05 | Google indexing quality changed from partial to good after a Google search for the clinic's name and city on 2026-10-05 (own site at position 1). |
| 2026-10-05 | Google indexing quality changed from good to partial after a name-and-city web search on 2026-10-05 (own site not listed, though indexed). |
| 2026-10-02 | Other review platforms checked on 2026-10-02: the clinic's own website links its Yelp page. |
| 2026-10-01 | Reviews on other platforms re-checked: the only WhatClinic profile under this name gives a different address, and there is none on Dental Departures or Doctoralia, so this is now marked unknown. |
| 2026-09-25 | Search visibility checked on 2026-09-25 for the five pending Puerto Vallarta queries: present for "best dentist Puerto Vallarta", "English speaking dentist Puerto Vallarta", "dental implants Puerto Vallarta", "Puerto Vallarta dental clinic for expats"; not present for "emergency dentist Puerto Vallarta". |
| 2026-09-25 | Re-read on 2026-09-25: every page in the clinic's sitemaps (services, veneers, full-mouth implants, whitening, appointment, FAQ, testimonials and blog) and its Google listing, including the lowest-rated reviews. Recorded: a published consultation fee ($700 MXN) and full-arch implant base prices; no cleaning, filling, standalone crown or X-ray price; extractions and wisdom-tooth surgery offered; no children's dentistry; weekday hours to 7 PM plus Saturday; structured data present; owner replies to reviews, including critical ones; no signs of manipulated reviews; not listed on TripAdvisor. Corrected: prices are published for several treatments (veneers, full-arch implants, the consultation), so the earlier "prices not published" entry was wrong. Still unverified: on-site X-ray/CBCT equipment, emergency appointments and whether complaints recur. |

| 2026-08-25 | Re-verification 2026-08-25: confirmed website, address, phone unchanged; Google rating changed to 4.7 (was 4.8), review count now 218 (was 170); added geo coordinates and Maps URL. |
